October 10, Domain Stadium Get in quick, we are limited 12 teams per division Who Can Play? To be eligible to play in The AFL 9s Tournament you must be at least 16 years old. What divisions are there? You can nominate a team for 1 of 3 divisions – Open, Mixed and Over 35’s. Open Requirements – There are no gender requirements for the open division Mixed Requirements – A minimum of 3 players of each gender must be on the field at all times Over 35’s Requirements – All players must be born in or before the year of 1980 How much does it cost? The AFL 9s Tournament costs $85 per person which will be paid as an upfront ‘team registration fee’. Teams are made up of 12 players. What’s included? Singlets: Each team gets a set of 12 team singlets Matches: Each team will play 4 x 20 minute matches in the regular rounds, and then additional matches for those teams who make finals.Footballs: Each team will receive 5 AFL 9s footballs upon registration and payment. Prizes Various prizes will be on offer to the winning teams, and to all participants throughout the day.
